SILLIMAN UNIVERSITY

In 1968, two members of Divine Word College who joined in 1965, Proculo Maslog and Idelfonso Sanchez, transferred their studies in Silliman University in Dumaguete City and organized it as the first school chapter in 1969 to operate outside the province. The picture was taken in August 1972 at the Silliman University Kappans Booth as corrected according to Mila Dagayloan-Avenido. The original seal design painted in plywood displayed at the background was created and drawn by Danilo Villamina in 1970. Squatting in front are late Roger Valencia and Elly; next row from left to right- Porgy Burgos, Roxsy, Ethel Ege, Calvin Mamhot, Elsie Uy, Vivian Villanueva, Ingrid Gadiane, Nenen and Nida Echarri. Members included in the picture but not idenfied were Israel dajao, Louella Anfone, Vilma Garganian, Vilma Bulandres, Fe Montes, Debra Nodado, Aida Blanco, Vivian Villanueva, Dinah Villanueva, Jorja Flores, Emelin Gadingan, Ingrid Gadiane, Ethel Ege, Ms. Jumawan, Estelito Belza, Roger Gadingan, Lito Galarita, Carolina Junasa, Fred Corsame, Mila Dagayloan, Leo Tifora. Some names mentioned were not in photo but also members during the same year as remembered by Leo Tifora.

CENTRAL MINDANO UNIVERSITY

Reynaldo Pagalan, one of the pioneering members of the Silliman University Chapter in 1969, moved to Central Mindanao University (CMU) in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon. His journey to Mindanao as a student gave birth to the fraternity as the first school chapter in the Southern Philippines when he organized in 1970. The photo above are the first batch members of the fraternity taken on February 1971. Bukidnon State College

The Bukidnon State College (now Bukidnon State University) in Malaybalay, Bukidnon was the second school established in 1972 whom organized by Celso Taran, a pioneer of CMU in 1971. This picture was taken on September 9, 1972 at Campsite (Now Kaamulan) Malaybalay, Bukidnon. According to late Samuel Guevara (CMU-1971), this was during the acceptance and final initiation of pledgees from San Isidro College and the then Bukidnon Normal College (Bukidnon State University).

XAVIER UNIVERSITY

Diosdado Legara, who became a member in 1972, organized Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan chapter in Cagayan de Oro City in 1974. Photo above are members of the XU chapter, taken during the 19th founding anniversary celebration on October 9, 1981. Raymundo Luzano, Jr., who became a member of the Xavier University Chapter in 1974, organized Velez College in Cebu City in 1975. He was assisted by Noel Agreda, a member of Central Mindanao University batch 1973. This photo was taken in 1977.
